Course description

How to handle Injuries and Choking

The instructor uses her experience and knowledge as a health professional.
We spend plenty of time practicing in small groups, using props like wound and sprain bandages, eye wash etc.

All participants/couples will get a first aid book (English). Just choose a Budget ticket, if you are not interested in a book.

Program

• Minor and more severe bleedings
• Bites and stings incl. ticks
• Objects in skin, eyes, ears and nose
• Toxic plants
• Teeth injuries – baby teeth & permanent teeth
• Vomit and diarrhoea
• Sprains
• Constipation – babies & bigger children

+ a few topics I also cover at the CPR courses (yeah, you have to live with a little repetition, if you attend both):

• Burns and external corrosive injuries
• Falls
• Choking
• A SHORT refresher / introduction to CPR. Please choose one of the CPR & choking courses instead of this, if this topic is your main priority (see dates for those courses at the bottom).

Duration: 3 hours

Price: DKK 328-410,- depending on ticket type
